Explore the hidden history of sex workers and queer communities in 19th-century cities with historian Andrew Israel Ross of Loyola University Maryland.
Dr. Ross will discuss Victorian attitudes toward sexuality, the rise of sex work and queer communities, early gay bars, and how these cultures evolved through the early 20th century.
