Guilford Hall Brewery Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By entering the premises, placing an order, or attending any event hosted by the Restaurant (“the Establishment”), you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of all guests and to protect the Establishment, its owners, and employees from undue liability.
2. Assumption of Risk
Guests acknowledge that dining and participation in restaurant-related activities may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, food allergies, and exposure to environmental factors.
By remaining on the premises, guests voluntarily assume all such risks and agree that the Establishment shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage sustained while on the property, except in cases of proven gross negligence or willful misconduct by the Establishment.
3. Food Allergies & Dietary Restrictions
Guests are responsible for notifying staff of any allergies or dietary restrictions prior to placing an order.
While the Establishment takes reasonable precautions to prevent cross-contamination, it cannot guarantee that menu items are completely free of allergens such as nuts, gluten, dairy, soy, shellfish, or other potential irritants.
The Establishment shall not be held responsible for allergic reactions or sensitivities resulting from undisclosed or unknown allergies.
4. Alcohol Service & Consumption
All guests consuming alcohol must be of legal drinking age and may be required to present valid identification.
The Establishment reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to any individual who appears intoxicated, acts disorderly, or poses a safety risk to themselves or others.
Guests are responsible for their own conduct and any damages resulting from excessive or irresponsible alcohol consumption. The Establishment assumes no liability for accidents, injuries, or incidents occurring on or off the premises related to alcohol consumption.
5. Personal Belongings & Lost Property
The Establishment is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items, including vehicles and contents left in parking areas. Guests are encouraged to keep valuables secure and in their possession at all times.
Unclaimed items will be held for a maximum of seven (7) days before disposal or donation.
6. Conduct & Right to Refuse Service
The Establishment reserves the right to refuse entry or service to any guest for reasons including, but not limited to: intoxication, disruptive behavior, harassment, or failure to comply with staff instructions or posted policies.
Guests engaging in verbal or physical abuse toward staff or other patrons may be asked to leave immediately and may be banned from returning.
7. Reservations, Deposits & Cancellations
Reservation deposits, if required, are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to a reservation, or failure to appear, may result in forfeiture of deposits or a cancellation fee.
Special event and private dining bookings are subject to specific contractual terms, which supersede this policy where applicable.
8. Photography & Recording
Guests may take personal photos or videos for non-commercial purposes, provided they do not disrupt other diners or staff operations.
Professional photography, media coverage, or commercial use of the Establishment’s name, image, or likeness requires prior written approval.
9. Events, Entertainment & Noise
The Establishment occasionally hosts live entertainment or private events. Noise levels may vary, and guests acknowledge this as part of the dining experience.
The Establishment is not responsible for disruptions caused by scheduled or unscheduled entertainment, maintenance, or external conditions.
10. Liability Waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Establishment, its owners, affiliates, agents, and employees are released from any and all claims, damages, injuries, or losses arising from guest presence, participation, or consumption of food or beverages on the premises, except where prohibited by applicable law.
Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Establishment against any claims arising from their own negligence, misconduct, or violation of these Terms.
11. Force Majeure
The Establishment shall not be held liable for failure to perform or delays in performance resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of nature, government restrictions, power outages, or public health emergencies.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which the Establishment operates.
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
13. Amendments
The Establishment reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated versions will be posted on-site or online as applicable.
